The day was finally here, after so much planning and waiting, and waiting and planning! The beautiful bride and groom were moved to tears when they met in front of the San Giuseppe church, as is Italian tradition, before the opening procession. The very first to enter the church was Federico’s 10 year old daughter, Asia, resplendent in a long white silk dress with a pink sash. Gorgeous!
The reception was held at the 1000 year old Abbazia Sant’Elena, and it was a succession of games, dancing and toasts to the bride and groom. After the cake was cut everyone was invited into the garden for the dessert buffet and the “confettata”, the Italian sugared almond table we set up on wine barrels. But when everyone saw the polaroid photobooth they jumped in line so that they could take the best picture to clip onto the olive tree.
What a beautiful day! We wish Federico and Daniela the very best as they begin their life together. Blessings!
